Services
Dog walking services include solo or group walks of agreed duration. Walk days, times and collection arrangements are agreed in advance.
Walks may be adjusted in extreme weather conditions to protect animal welfare.
Dog health & behaviour
Owners confirm their dog:
is vaccinated
is flea and worm treated
is fit for exercise
does not have any contagious illness
Owners must disclose any medical conditions, behavioural issues, anxiety or history of aggression.
Walk type (solo or group) will be determined based on safety and suitability.
Dogs may be kept on lead where necessary.
Veterinary consent
If a dog becomes ill or injured while in the walker’s care, the walker may seek veterinary treatment.
The owner agrees to cover any veterinary costs.
Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the owner or emergency contact.
Safety & welfare
Dogs will be handled with reasonable care and in accordance with the duty of care required under the Animal Welfare Act 2006.
Where transport is required, dogs will be secured safely in the vehicle.
Access to property
Where required, owners give permission for the walker to access the property for the purpose of collecting or returning the dog.
Keys and access information are kept securely.
Payment
Prices are agreed in advance.
Payment is due within the agreed timeframe.
Invoices may be provided.
Cancellation
Notice of cancellation is appreciated.
Late cancellations may be charged.
Services may be cancelled where safety or welfare is at risk.
Liability
Reasonable care is taken while dogs are in the walker’s care.
Owners remain responsible for disclosing any behavioural or health issues.
Photos
Photos of dogs may be used for business purposes unless the owner requests otherwise.
Acceptance
Booking services confirms acceptance of these terms.
